Why This Blog

As i looked around i saw that many people who are new to rooting, custom rom and recovery are just searching in google for their device specific stuff, but i was busy working 24*7 in improving support via telegram . That's the main reason i started this , and i will also be posing any subject which go through my mind at the time of the post


if you are wondering who i really am , then this is the answer for you

              I am rex an active android enthusiast. I have a lenovo vibe P1m which is a 2015 released android device. I basically like all things  that automates or improve a certain work and i also like puzzles, that caused me to learn some computer languages in my free time, I have a basic tendency to stop something before finishing it ( turned out i'm just lazy )  

In case you wan't to know what i know and what i have , this is the place to look for 

             i have one android device and a pc

android device is lenovo vibe P1m, it is released in the summer of 2015 by lenovo as a budget friendly device and it was a great successor at that time , as time passed and lenovo piked mediatek  soc's over snapdragon development become a headache as soc's like mtk does not release kernel sources, but a great guy named darklord started working on the device on true development and he made 3.18.19 android kernel based device sources which was a major breakthrough for the device 

couple of peoples like sandeep and z3r0cool_2k worked on the porting side and ported custom recoveries and roms for the device , after darklords sources nougat based roms got compiled for the device , but at that time android world got shifted to oreo , but as a device with no stable kernel source and a good developer development again came to a halt

            now the device have couple of lollipop roms based on 3.10.65 kernel and some nougat and marshmallow roms based on 3.18.19 kernel by darklord. another imported think to say is that the device came to have 3 variants of display drivers which caused some devices to work differently when using 3.18.19 kernel by darklord . this haven't fixed till now. And this kernel also have some noise disturbance when using low volume via headset and green images when taken during low light conditions with flashlight , device doesn't have volte by the company but by using 3.18.19 kernel volte can be used with ported roms which have volte

as of my computer i'm using a core i2 with 4gb ram and 1TB ssd , yeah i know it's to low but i believe something is better than nothing and i use ubuntu 18.10 as software
